Welcome to the Work Side of the Marche."},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"19950\" class=\"elementor elementor-19950 elementor-2504\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"xts-negative-gap elementor-element elementor-element-5f3aeab e-flex e-con-boxed xts-section-disabled e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"5f3aeab\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-76f3614 xts-scheme-inherit xts-textalign-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"76f3614\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"p1\"><b>How do you say &#8216;to work (too much)&#8217; in the Marchigiano dialect?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p2\"><i>(And because we say it with pride, sarcasm, and a strange form of love.)<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><i>&#8220;How does it feel to treat me like you do\nwhen you laid your hands upon me&#8230;&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">In 1983, New Order sang about toxic love.\nIn 2025, we put our calloused hands of the past into it.\nThose who didn&#8217;t choose &#8216;fadiga&#8217; \u2014 they inherited it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Yes, because in Marche <b>we don&#8217;t work<\/b>, we:\n<b>fadiga<\/b>, <b>laora<\/b>, <b>sgobb\u00e0<\/b>, <b>tribbul\u00e0<\/b>, <b>fatigh\u00e8r<\/b>, <b>mastrici\u00e0<\/b>, <b>lavur\u00e8r<\/b>\u2026<\/p>\nEvery valley, every hill, every farmhouse has its favorite way of saying: me <i>I&#8217;m working my tail off<\/i>.\n\nBut beware: it&#8217;s not just a complaint. It&#8217;s <b>peasant semiotics<\/b>, <b>hoe-handled philosophy<\/b>, <b>poetics of doing<\/b>.\n\nThe Marchigian \u201cfadiga\u201d is a semantic field all our own. Inside it, there\u2019s <b>physical tiredness<\/b>, yes, but also identity: who you are, how much you\u2019re worth, what you\u2019ve built, and how you\u2019ve learned never to boast about it.\n<h3 class=\"p4\"><b>Working is tiring. But talking about work is punk.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p2\">In a world that shouts \u201chustle\u201d, \u201cgrind\u201d, \u201cperformance\u201d we respond with: \u201c<b>struggle<\/b>\u201d, \u201c<b>toil<\/b>\u201d, \u201c<b>work hard<\/b>\u201d \u2014 and a shrug.\nBecause here, work is <b>not flaunted<\/b>, it is done.\nThen you go home, eat, and say: \u201cAll good. It&#8217;s nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">It\u2019s our own way of not burdening, not weighing people down, of hiding <b>dignity within irony<\/b>.\nAnd in the end, isn\u2019t that also a philosophical act?<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"p4\"><b><i>Fatigue as a value system<\/i><\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p2\">If you had asked Barthes or Bourdieu, they would have told you that:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">fatigue is a language.\na symbol.\na cultural device.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">We say it is <b>the root of our creative resistance<\/b>.\nIt\u2019s <b>knowing how to do well without saying too much<\/b>.\nIt\u2019s <b>asking for nothing, but leaving a mark<\/b>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"p4\"><b>\u201cHow does it feel\u2026 to call it fadiga?\u201d<\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p2\">So let&#8217;s listen to them again, the New Order, but through a Marche lens:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><i>&#8220;How does it feel\nwhen you laid your hands upon me\nand called it\u2026 fadiga,\nlaor\u00e0, sgobb\u00e0, pen\u00e0, lavur\u00e8r, tribbul\u00e0, mastrici\u00e0, fatigh\u00e8r?&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">What does it feel like to lay your hands on the past and feel it still burning?<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"p4\"><b>MarcheLove doesn\u2019t sell slogans.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p2\">It transforms <b>hard words<\/b> into <b>living art<\/b>.\nIt collects the verbs of toil and silkscreens them, illustrates them, prints them.\nSo they won\u2019t be lost.\nBecause every Marche \u201cfadiga\u201d deserves its manifesto.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><b>And you? What do you call work in your area?<\/b>\nTell us. Write it down.
