What\u2019s this \u201clo joc\u00e0 \u00e8 tanto\u201d?<\/h4>

If you grew up among the hills of the Marche, you\u2019ve surely heard an elder drop this phrase: \u201cLo joc\u00e0 \u00e8 tanto.\u201d<\/strong>
Literally: \u201cThe game is plenty.\u201d<\/em>
Our semiotic translation: \u201cDrama? Nah, let’s roll the dice instead.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

It\u2019s not an invitation to play, but a comment buzzing with irony. It\u2019s what a grandfather might say to a grandson rattling off a r\u00e9sum\u00e9 for a multinational:
\u2013 \u201cI\u2019m a Personal Assistant & Company factotum at Pincopallo Spa.\u201d<\/em>
\u2013 Grandpa, unfazed: \u201cEeh\u2026 lo joc\u00e0 \u00e8 tanto!\u201d<\/em><\/p>
