“Le Marche in Festival.” The Municipalities of Anci Marche will be in Sanremo
Five days to showcase the excellence of the Marche municipalities on the big stage of Sanremo. Fioravanti, President: “An extraordinary opportunity thanks to the support of the Chamber of Commerce. We are counting on the ‘wow effect.’”
In the project “Le Marche in Festival,” the municipalities play a fundamental role, and during each of the five days of the Sanremo Festival, they will be featured, bringing their cultural, historical, and food and wine excellence to the international showcase of the music event. It will start on Monday, February 5, with the inauguration of the Festival Village, which includes events and shows with which Marche bids farewell to the Festival, and will conclude with the Quintana parade through the streets of Sanremo. Then on Tuesday, February 6, the territory of the province of Ancona will be in the spotlight, followed by Pesaro, Macerata, Fermo, and Ascoli Piceno on the final day, Saturday, February 10.
“Le Marche will have a ‘wow’ effect,” says Marco Fioravanti, President of Anci Marche, who is a partner in the Marche at Sanremo project as president of Anci Marche. “We are the only Italian region, along with Liguria, officially present at Sanremo, and we will be represented by people who, more than a brand, know how to convey authenticity and spiritual value.” The representation of all territories ensures respect for a plural region. “Despite having only five days available, it was necessary to select just a few events and promotional moments,” Fioravanti added, “which confirms how much liveliness, tradition, culture, and history there is in Le Marche.”
“The thanks,” Fioravanti concluded, “go to the Chamber of Commerce, which believed in this project and wanted to involve not only the Marche Region but also the municipalities of Marche to bring the territories to the Festival, and I am certain that the impact in terms of visibility will be very significant.”
