In the Marche region, it means that the sun doesn’t simply warm you up. It hits you. The graphic design is inspired by a dialect reinterpretation of one of the most iconic songs in post-punk history: Love Will Tear Us Apart. But along the Adriatic coast, the problem starts much earlier.
So our own “translation” could only be:
Love will tear us apart. But Lo Callo che tte ffiara will melt us first.
The grey nautical stripes evoke beach cabins, seaside resorts and sun umbrellas, while the bright red print becomes the midday sun, sun-heated skin and the constant search for shade. A declaration of love for the Marche dialect, music culture and the art of surviving summer.
